چکیده
Although data reusers request information about how research was created and curated, this is often non-existent or only briefly covered in descriptions. The need for such contextual particularly critical fields like archaeology, where old legacy during different time periods through varying methodological framings fieldwork documentation practices retains its value as an important source. This article explores the presence of archaeological with a specific focus on provenance processing information, i.e., paradata. purpose to identify explicate types paradata field observation documentation. method used explorative close reading from excavation enriched geographical metadata. analysis covers technical epistemological challenges opportunities identification, discusses possibility using identified descriptions reliability assessments. Results show that it possible both knowledge organisation (KOP) relating structuring knowledge-making (KMP) methods interpretative processes. However, while contains many traces process, there uneven and, some categories, low level structure systematicity complicates automated metadata identification extraction. results broaden understanding are they impact archaeology comparable sciences. insights into dataset’s KOP KMP can be read also contribution literacy practice development. متن کاملParadata for Nonresponse Adjustment
Survey researchers and practitioners use nonresponse adjustment weights to mitigate the effects of survey nonresponse on sample estimates. One challenge in creating these weights is finding useful auxiliary data that predict both the probability of participating in the survey and the survey variables of interest. This article reviews the use of paradata for nonresponse adjustment. Five differen...
